Circle City Classic\u00ae Scholarship Fund<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In the past three decades, IBE has awarded nearly $5 million in scholarships to worthy Hoosier students. High school seniors and college undergraduates are chosen on the basis of academic achievement and financial need. The scholarship program has been key to Indiana scholars experiencing the opportunity to advance their career objectives and pursue a higher quality of life.<\/p>\n

The Coronation<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Miss Circle City Classic\u00ae Coronation targets area high school females and promotes academic achievement, community service, and leadership development.\u00a0 Prior to the event, participants attend mandatory workshops that focus on the importance of teamwork, leadership styles, college admissions requirements, study skills, effective communication (oral and written), dress for success, social etiquette, college financial aid, and modern dance. Youth Leadership Summit<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Youth development is a benchmark of IBE and nowhere is the emphasis more emphatic than in the preparation of young people for the leadership roles of tomorrow. The Youth Leadership Summit held during Summer Celebration inspires young people to become a significant part of the kinds of changes they envision for the world in which they live. They are taught how to make a difference in their community as the first step to changing the world. Education Day<\/span><\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

IBE hosts the Education Day Party, an annual college fair with a twist, for over 2000 middle and high school students inside the Lucas Oil Stadium prior to the Circle City Classic\u00ae. This fair provides students with opportunities for college admissions, scholarships, face-to-face interaction with university representatives, and information about various campus programs and student life. The fair is open to all middle school, high school and non-traditional students. Approximately 40 colleges and universities (traditional and HBCUs) participate in the event.<\/span><\/p>\n
